Yes chewing gum was ban more than 10 years ago, but there are 
people who still buy and smuggle in for their own consumtion. 
If go they have to pay a very heavy fine.

At first there were a lot of disagreement to the ban but now 
everyone find that it was the right move, yes chewing gums 
customers are more to the younger generation and they would 
throw it anywhere or stick it in elevator, train doors and etc. 
This has cause a lot of headache for authority. When the gum 
are thrown on the floor after sometime they become black and so 
it destroy the beauty of the pavement. Anyone caught chewing 
gum will be ask to surrender the balance and throw it away. If 
you are caught throwing or sticking the gums anywhere you will 
be charge for vandalising and that can be quite heavy.

Basically, it just a habit, like cigarrette. When I was young I 
use to chew gum too. Now lesser people are chewing. Those that 
still chew are mainly tourists. Yes they will be warn if they 
are caught and their passport will be taken for future 
reference if they are caught again.

don't know anything about MS. As for cancer, nowadays they 
inject a certain medicine to help prevent nausea but still some 
people still had that problem. I do not know what the medicine 
is. It might be marijuana. During my chemo treatment, I just 
had very mild nausea no vomitting. Maybe it was my experience 
with Marijuana during my teenage days. I know the doctor would 
spray cocaine into your nose to numb it to check inside.

Did you guys saw the interview in BBC regarding Iraq. I cannot
